Overview
TopSocial.ai is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that automates the full social media content lifecycle for brands, agencies, and creators. Users connect their social accounts, define their brand identity once, and the platform takes over — generating weekly content batches with AI, formatting them per platform, and publishing automatically or routing them through an approval workflow. The platform supports Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok through official Graph and platform APIs, uses LangChain and LangGraph for multi-step AI orchestration, and monetises through Stripe subscriptions with a credit-based AI usage model. Plans run from a free tier to a VIP tier at €99/month.
The Challenge
Keeping AI-generated content genuinely on-brand across weeks of automated posts — without it turning generic — required a structured Brand Brain that injects brand voice, tone, and content preferences into every generation prompt. On top of that, three different platform APIs each have their own rate limits, publishing rules, media requirements, and OAuth flows, which had to be abstracted behind a single unified publishing layer with automated retry logic to guarantee posts go live even through transient API failures.
How We Solved It
AI Brand Brain
Built a brand identity engine that captures business info, marketing goals, audience type, and preferred tone (Professional, Friendly, Bold, Playful, Minimal, Inspirational). Every AI generation call injects this context so posts consistently reflect the brand's voice — not a generic AI template.
LangChain + LangGraph Content Pipeline
Implemented multi-step generation workflows using LangGraph's stateful graph architecture: topic ideation → caption writing → hashtag optimisation → platform-specific formatting. Each step is observable and retryable, enabling reliable weekly content batch generation for every connected workspace.
Three Publishing Modes
Users choose from Autonomous Post Generation (fully automated, no input needed), Approval Workflow (AI generates, human reviews before publish), or Manual Scheduling (user picks date/time). All three modes feed the same content calendar and publish through the same unified platform integration layer.
Multi-Platform Integration Layer
Integrated Facebook Graph API, Instagram Graph API, and TikTok API behind a single abstraction. Handles OAuth connection, token refresh, media upload, scheduling, and publish confirmation per platform. A background worker queue processes publishing jobs with automatic retry on failure.
Content Calendar & Media Library
Designed a week-view content calendar showing scheduled, published, missed, and pending posts across all connected accounts. The Media Library lets users upload images and video assets that the AI references during content generation.
Stripe Subscription & Credit Billing
Implemented four-tier Stripe subscription billing (Free, Pro €29, Premium €49, VIP €99) alongside a credit-based AI usage model. Each plan includes AI image quotas, caption credit allotments, auto-post frequency, and storage limits. Upgrades, downgrades, and usage tracking are managed in real time.
