Overview
A Finance Analytics & Data Intelligence Platform that replaces hours of manual reporting with a single conversation. The platform combines three domain-specialized AI chatbots — FP&A, Risk & Compliance, and Investor Relations — with live interactive dashboards and a full administrative control panel. Every answer is grounded in the organization's own documents, so finance teams get cited, auditable responses rather than hallucinated summaries.
The Challenge
Finance teams at growing companies drown in unstructured data — PDFs, policy documents, spreadsheets, and past reports scattered across drives and inboxes. Answering questions like 'What drove the Q3 variance?' or 'What is our ESG reporting posture?' required hunting through documents manually, waiting on analysts, and reconciling conflicting sources. No existing tool combined governed document retrieval with domain expertise and live financial KPIs in one coherent interface.
How We Solved It
Domain-Specialized RAG Pipelines
Built three separate retrieval-augmented generation pipelines — each trained on a distinct document corpus: budget models and forecasts for FP&A, regulatory excerpts and policy docs for Risk & Compliance, and investor narratives and KPI summaries for Investor Relations. Answers include source citations so every claim is traceable.
Live Financial Dashboards
Integrated interactive data visualizations across three dashboard categories — Revenue & Margin Overview (quarterly revenue, gross margin, YoY variance), Collections & Aging (AR buckets and collection trends), and ESG & Sustainability KPIs (carbon intensity, renewable share, reporting readiness). Data updates automatically, surfacing live signals alongside AI answers.
Role-Aware Chat Interface
Each chatbot surfaces suggested prompts relevant to its domain — e.g., 'What drove the variance to plan in Q3?' for FP&A — and maintains conversation history so users can drill deeper without losing context. Chat sessions are persisted per user for audit trails.
Admin Control Panel
Built a full four-tab admin dashboard — Overview (platform stats and recent activity feed), Chatbots (manage visibility and configuration of each AI assistant), Dashboards (control which dashboards are active and accessible), and Users (invite, verify, assign roles, and manage accounts). All changes are logged in the activity feed.
